Accessibility and Inclusivity

We’re committed to creating an event that is accessible and inclusive

Accessibility and inclusivity are priorities in the WordPress community. We want WordCamp Europe to be an event where attendees feel welcome, comfortable, and included.

We’ve listed some of our efforts to ensure that WordCamp Europe is accessible and inclusive to as many people as possible on this page.

Childcare

Parents are welcome to bring their children to the conference at no extra cost and childcare will be provided across the conference’s two days. You can find more information and apply for childcare using this form.

Code of Conduct

All WordCamp Europe attendees are expected to abide by our code of conduct. We encourage anyone who witnesses or is subject to inappropriate behaviour to report it to us via the form at the bottom of the code.

Venue Accessibility Information

We have organised accessibility information about the conference venue and also the Contributor Day/after party venue.

Visa Assistance

If you need to obtain a Visa in order to visit Belgrade then we will provide an invitation letter for your application. Please request the letter via the form on this page.

Speech to Text Reporters (STTRs)

Live captioning will be provided for all presentations in the main conference tracks. This won’t be available at Contributor Day or in any of the workshops.

If you can’t fly to Belgrade…

All sessions will be recorded and made available on WordPress.tv (with video captions) after the event.

We’re always learning. If you know of a way we could make our event more accessible and inclusive, or if you have any other feedback or questions, then please don’t hesitate to contact us.
