  • Sponsors make it possible for the event to remain accessible, keeping tickets at €40
  • Attendees will be opportuned to chat with sponsors at the event

WordCamp Europe (WCEU), Europe’s largest WordPress conference, is a global event where WordPress enthusiasts from across continents gather together for three days of sharing knowledge and creating experiences. None of this would be possible without the generosity of sponsors each year.

WCEU is happy to announce that its Super Admin sponsors for this year’s event are: WooCommerce – the fully customizable, open source eCommerce solution, Jetpack – which connects sites to the global services, community, and support provided by WordPress.com, and Google – the American multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products.

Through their support, WCEU is able to keep the cost of tickets low allowing the event to remain accessible to as many people as possible. At only €40, a WCEU ticket allows access to the two day conference (lunch, coffee, and snacks included), an invitation to the after party, and the yearly collectible event t-shirt.

WCEU categorizes its sponsorship packages in line with the user roles on WordPress and this year, sponsors showed up as ever; seizing the opportunities in each of these packages while enabling the success of the event.

WooCommerce initially “WooThemes”, have supported WordCamp Europe since the very beginning and are back as as sponsors for the sixth year. Built on WordPress,  28% of all online stores are powered by WooCommerce. The organisation is also an After Party sponsor for WordCamp Europe 2018.

Jetpack who, just like WooCommerce, have been Super Admin sponsors of WordCamp Europe previously are back as well; and in addition are sponsoring the Coffee Break for WordCamp Europe 2018.

Jetpack automatically shields your site from the unwanted attention of spammers, hackers, and malware, while real-time sync and backup means you don’t have to worry about data loss. Straightforward traffic-building tools help you attract the attention of readers and search engines. Pages and videos are delivered at high speed from a global, ad-free content delivery network.

The WCEU 2018 organising team also welcomes Google to its very first WordCamp Europe.

The opportunity to engage with the WordPress community was key for Google, who hope to  expand the ways in which Google and WordPress can work together to keep making the web better for all.

The firm notes that it’s delighted to be a part of WordCamp Europe this year as the missions of Google and WordPress are naturally aligned. As Google seeks to contribute to the prevalence of a healthy, flourishing, and vibrant web, WordPress is democratizing web publishing, which implies providing an awesome UX on WordPress-powered sites for all users: content creators, site owners, developers, and content consumers.

These organisations will have a booth at the event, along with other sponsors. Get tickets here for an opportunity to chat with their teams and learn more about what they’re working on.

The conference which holds in a different city each year, takes place in Belgrade, Serbia from the 14th to 16th of June, 2018.
