You will be leading a team of room leads and work closely with the Volunteers team and keep them updated. If one of the room crew members (timekeeper, door guards and runners) doesn’t show up for his shift, you will provide backup on demand of the Room lead.
Make sure that the teams are complete ten minutes before the start of a session. Your physical presence in the rooms during your shift might be necessary and you should be able to change rooms quickly to solve a problem.

A tight communication with the Room leads and the Volunteers team, to who you are reporting to, is necessary.

Standing, (quick) walking and sitting.

Responsible for

Leading the team of room leads, participating in the smooth running of the event in all the session rooms.

Responsible from the Volunteers team (organizer)

Shift length

Two half days or one full day

Get familiar with the schedule, the floor and room plans.
