You are the volunteer that assists the Room lead. Last-minute requests could be anything from getting a connector/adapter from the Green room to getting a bottle of fresh water for the next speaker. The Room lead is the one who will tell you what is needed and (usually) where to get it. Run the microphones around the room to whenever needed.
